The idea behind Flashmob routine is to perform it at a public location (such as a train station, Universal City Walk, airport, or area with lots of people), & surprise them with an "unscheduled" performance... the element of surprise! Music mysteriously starts, dancers spring out from nowhere, & there is a great show to entertain the masses. Flashmob routines try to reach people who wouldn't usually seek out dance (like going to classes or seeing shows); in the hopes to inspire them to dance! It is also a great way to get West Coast Swing Dance, a partner dance that people love so much, more exposed around the world to help grow this amazing community. WOW!!!
